The national HGL category is not the same as the full group entitled to wear a gown under the TU/e regulations: associate and assistant professors may also qualify. Therefore, 190 is not an upper limit for all potential gown wearers.
Definition: regular and personal-chair full professors with a paid employment contract, counted as people, at the end of 2024, excluding the Health field. A gown maker must record the formal rank; expertise or committee participation alone is not sufficient for gown entitlement.
Gown and headwear together
The public requirement specifies both components. Fit and comfort must be assessed as one ensemble.
Check loan stock against required sizes
A loan ensemble is only usable when length, shoulders, sleeves and headwear have been checked in good time.
Respect the limits of public information
