The comparable full professor population fits WUR’s distinction between full professors in academic dress and other committee members in formal dress. The figure says nothing about ownership, loan stock or annual replacement.

A reliable academic gown commission starts with the university, role and ceremony, followed by material, pattern and measurements.
For an external professor, a gown maker must record which university the ensemble comes from. The Wageningen venue does not automatically make it a WUR gown.
The regulations mention gown and cap together. Head size, occasions of wear and safe storage must be taken into account.
A white shirt, black trousers, skirt or dress and black shoes determine layer thickness, length and silhouette during the fitting.
